The rural house "La Toba", is located just outside the village of Bezana in Valdebezana Valley at the foot of the Cantabrian Mountains in the northern province of Burgos, and included in the region of the Merindades. The valley between small villages, the most varied artistic and natural treasures.
Of all natural spaces we can highlight the boxed The Palancas Pass and the impressive "Las Pisas" waterfall formed by the Arroyo de La Gandara.
The grasslands of the near the Ebro Swamp contrast with the peaks of the Escudo and de la Maza, the Cantabrian Mountains. The Carrales Beech Forest and the Villabascones beech forest and extensive Arreba Valley oak, have a high natural interest in good condition.
In the latter valley, furrowed by the Trifón river, where the weakness of the limestone has favored the formation of various karst cavities complex: Piscarciano, Arenas and Vacas.
Ojo Guareña Caves, located about 20 km. of the rural house, with more than 100 km. of underground galleries, form the largest karstic complex in Spain and one of the largest in Europe.

Puentedey, The picturesque village built on a natural bridge, belongs to the nearby merindad of Valdeporres.
South Carrales port and near the La Toba rural house located the region of Sedano. Although even the smallest village is worth a leisurely visit, include:
